ESQIDO Mink False Lashes in Viola Review

Press Sample

If you know me, you know I'm not a fan of the male construction worker look and I'm a sucker for the full, dramatic lash. I was lucky enough to receive a pair of ESQIDO Mink Lashes to review and let me tell you, there's not a male, nor even female construction worker in sight today ladies and gentlefolks. Unless construction workers suddenly got vampy and glam when I wasn't looking.

Ok enough of beating that analogy into the ground, check out these beautiful, lush naturally shed mink lashes.

From the ESQIDO website:

Well, hello there.

I have to say, I own a lot of lashes. Silk lashes, synthetic lashes and now these wonderfully soft mink lashes. The other styles just don't compare in my opinion. They came in a very pretty, luxurious looking box which is perfect to store them in. They are reusable up to 25 times, so the cost per use is comparable to synthetic lashes, which you usually only get 4 uses out of. Considering the quality and the look is superior, I think the cost is well worth it. The ESQIDO lashes feel feathery and light on my eyes and I don't have that stiff feeling that a lot of false lashes can give you. They feel a lot like eyelash extensions without the permanence and they look beautifully natural, blending seamlessly with my actual lashes. Obviously this style isn't for daily wear (for me anyway.. I know some of you love the dramatic lash on the daily!), but they have a lot of different lash styles, from natural every day lashes, more lush, voluminous lashes and full blown, vampy glamourous lashes. If you wear falsies a lot or even just want something for a special occasion, you'll get a lot of wear out of these.

I am extremely happy with my first Mink Lash experience and I am already eyeing the BFF lashes for my next. I highly recommend these false lashes for anyone who wants the look and feel of beautiful eyelash extensions, without the high cost. Do any of you use false lashes a lot? I haven't been lately, but I may just have to break them out more regularly now that I have these.

My Bloody Valentine Drip Heart Nail Art

I Bought This

Something for the people that aren't into the cutesy side of Valentine's Day, here's my version of bloody dripping hearts for your viewing pleasure. It's the drip manicure, now with hearts!

I did 3 coats of Wet n Wild French White Creme (because it was streaky :( what's a good white polish??) and used Kiss Nail Artist Paint in Red to do the hearts and drippy bits and then did 2 coats of a red Color Club polish for the other nails. Simple and easy, but effective! It really gets that point across of having stabbed a heart against a wall. If that's what you're into.

Pink Heart French Nails

I Bought This

One of the prettiest and most classic nail art styles that I think is perfect for Valentine's Day, is the Heart French. My nails aren't quite long enough to do a full heart, but I still think they look pretty cute! This is one of the easiest nail art styles to do and it looks clean and sophisticated.

I did one coat of Wet n Wild Megalast Private Viewing as a base and then used a pink Kiss Nail Art striping polish to do the hearts. I basically painted the two top curves and then filled in the bottom, super easy! A thick coat of quick dry top coat and you're set.

I think this is a perfect date night manicure, cute and sweet and not too distracting! I'll get to the not so cute, super distracting nail art a little later in the week ;) After all, gotta have something for everyone!
