Calgon Ageless Milk Bath with Serum Beads

Happy Monday Beauties :)

Winter is the time for hot, steaming, relaxing BATHS! I love to listen to music, read a book and eat chocolate in the bath. I’m a multi-tasker.

I recently got the chance to try Calgon’s Ageless Milk Bath with Serum Beads, from Calgon’s Ageless Bath Collection. The Ageless Bath Collection, which consists of the Milk Bath and Bath Pearls (which I have not tried), is created with ‘Vita-Pearls’; a blend of Vitamin E, pearl powder and collagen which is supposed to (as per their press info) “provide antioxidant protection, luminosity and dryness relief”.

The Ageless Milk Bath with Serum Beads is described as “Creamy Luxurious formula for a rich, nourishing experience that will leave skin moisturized.” I definitely have to agree with that statement, I really enjoyed using the Milk Bath and felt it hydrated my skin well.

You can see the little gold serum beads in the milky liquid.

It smells divine, light and sweet like honeysuckle, and foams up with lots of bubbles and lasts quite a while. A lot of bubble baths or foam baths that I have tried tend to disappear very quickly, but although these bubbles did go down (mainly because I kept scooping them up and lathering them on myself), they didn’t disappear.

Love the foamy bubbles, I have loved bubble baths FOREVER!

I wasn’t left with any kind of residue, my skin felt nice and smooth. This product seems to be mainly for hydration and replenishing moisture in the skin, but it doesn’t leave you feeling greasy. The milk bath is branded ‘ageless’, and I feel it focuses on hydration to preserve skin texture. I didn’t really notice much ‘luminosity’, but maybe you get it more with the Bath Pearls.

Random, unnecessary photo of me in the bath.

Bubbles!

Calgon’s Ageless Bath Collection is available at Walmart, Kroger, Walmart Canada, Harmon’s and Loblaws. Calgon's online store is currently offline, but hopefully will be back up sometime soon.

Both the Milk Bath and Bath Pearls retail for $4.99 each.

Have you tried any Calgon products? What’s your favourite thing to do in the bath? Next time I might try a sheet mask while I’m listening to music/reading/eating chocs. Bump the bath experience up to the next level.

Soaking in a bathtub for long hours is one of the luxuries I could get if I have the time. This products looks cool because the beads could help exfoliate the skin.
