Woohoo! Review and giveaway time!!
I'm really excited to share this skincare line with you! I am currently loving the Eclos Anti-Aging Skin Care range from Freeman Beauty, which has Plant Stem Cells in it. This Starter kit has travel sized (not sample sized) products in it, so you can actually see the results before the product runs out. I have an issue with tiny sample sized skincare, because I mean really... can you usually tell whether your like a skincare product after only one or two uses? These tubes and bottles are big enough to get some good use.
From FreemanBeauty.com:
This Eclos 6-Piece Anti-Aging Starter Kit makes it easier than ever to begin a rejuvenating skin care routine. Each product is exclusively formulated with rejuvenating Apple Stem Cells, clinically proven to significantly reduce wrinkles and improve skin texture in 2 weeks. Consistent use of the Eclos Anti-Aging Starter Kit delivers visibly repaired and renewed skin.
Formulated Without:
- Parabens
- Sulfates
- Synthetic Fragrances
- Synthetic Dyes
- Mineral Oil or Petroleum
The kit came with (L to R): Moisture Therapy Regenerative Cream, Restorative Eye Cream, Facial Cleanser Skin Prep, Cellular Activator Face Serum, Skin Renewal Clay Mask, Instant Radiance Facial Scrub and in the back, a spa headband for those at home facials :p
Here are my thoughts on the products that I've used so far, after using them for about 2 weeks:
The Instant Radiance Facial Scrub is warm to the touch when you first rub it on, but the sensation goes away after you fully rub it onto the skin. It has a bit of a lemony scent, but it's not overpowering at all. I found my skin to be soft and smooth after using this, and my skintone more even.
I really enjoy using the Cellular Activator Face Serum. It absorbs really quickly into the skin, and leaves it feeling really smooth. It has no residue or oily feeling.
The Restorative Eye Cream is quite creamy, without feeling greasy. It hydrates the eye area well and definitely restores moisture. I don't know how well it fights wrinkles, as I only have very tiny lines around my eyes and it SEEMS to help, but I haven't noticed any drastic changes.
The Moisture Therapy Regenerative Cream is also creamy and hydrating, without being greasy. I don't really like that it comes in a tub though, I always feel icky about sticking my finger in to get the product out. Hygienically, it's not my first choice for moisturiser packaging.
I haven't tried the mask or the skin prep yet, but I will update once I have :)
OVERALL:
I have combination skin and some areas can get oily, but none of these products have made me break out or feel like a grease pool, they absorb really well. None of them have a strong scent, which I like. I tend to be sensitive to overpowering perfume-y products. I have really noticed a difference since using the kit, my skin is softer, smoother, glowing and the skintone is more even. I have noticed a very slight decreasing in my fine lines (which I don't have that many of anyway), but nothing hugely drastic. I think over time they might continue to decrease though.
VALUE FOR MONEY: For $19.99 it's not a bad sized kit to try out the products and see if they work for you. I will usually spend $20 on a full sized cleanser and moisturiser, so I don't mind spending the same amount to try out a full range of products. ALSO a little bit goes a LONG way with these, so you wont be using them up too quickly. The full size products range from $12.99 - $24.99, which I'd say is average for drugstore anti-aging skincare. I do somewhat cringe at paying more than $20 for skincare (because I'm super cheap), but if it works I'm not opposed to shelling out the big bucks (obviously SARCASM since, c'mon, $25 is not that crazily expensive). Don't blame me, I grew up poor so I have miserly tendencies.
What do you think? Would you pay $20 for a kit like this?
If you'd like to try these products for yourself... guess what?? You can! (/cheesy game show voice)
