Zoya Kimmy, plus Stila is having a Giveaway!

I'm sorry I've been neglecting you Beauties!

I've been super busy these last few days, trying to create a business website for my brother-in-law, spending time with the kiddies, trying (and failing) to keep up with the housework and taking lots of photos :) I want you to know I have heaps of stuff lined up to post, I just have to go through and edit some photos and then I will get onto writing it all up....

Well, today I have some swatches of one of the Zoya polishes I bought when they had the BOGO free promo on the Zoya website - KIMMY!

This beauty is from the new Summer 2011 collection 'Sunshine'. It is a fiery, gleaming red with gold micro glitter and the pictures don't do it justice! It really does look like it's on fire

Application was very good, I did three thin coats and it was very smooth. Funnily enough, even though it was very smooth going on, in certain light it looks bumpy.. that's the microglitter I guess, but it doesn't feel bumpy! It's only noticeable on the camera though, not in real life.

What I love about Zoya is that they are Big 3 Free and also Camphor free. They definitely have a less toxic smell than most nail polishes. I noticed there is a lot less chemical smell hanging around the house after application and that is good for the kiddies! I also got Zoya Lolly from the Mod Mattes collection and will be swatching it soon. I still haven't done the Intimate collection yet! So much nail polish, so little time... You might notice I cut my nails and filed them into a more rounded shape. This is because my nails were getting pretty long and I accidentally scratched my poor little #2 son :( I felt terrible about it so I immediately went and cut and filed my nails into a more kid friendly shape.
