We received samples of all 9 shades of Benefit’s new Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow! Foundation, the new primer The POREfessional and Bad Gal Lash Mascara.

These are the cute little sample bags my friend Dee and I put together (yes, the cardboard box makes for great presentation.. I know).
We are all such different skin tones, and we all found something that worked for us. Only two of the ladies were the same shade! This is what I love about having such a multicultural group of friends :)
My shade ended up being Toasted Beige.

Overall, I really like the texture and finish of Benefit’s Hello Flawless foundation, but it doesn’t give me quite as much coverage as I’m used to with my BB cream. It looks really natural, doesn’t settle into lines and doesn’t dry out or emphasise flaky patches. It literally glides over your skin and leaves it looking smooth, fresh and glowing. I think this is a great product if you are looking for a really natural, light to medium coverage foundation.
We had so much fun trying out all the new products from Benefit! Thank you Benefit and thank you House Party! If you don’t know what House Party is, basically you apply to host a promotional party for a certain brand and if you are chosen to host, you receive samples and/or vouchers towards the brand’s product. Then you host a party and invite all your friends to try it out! It’s loads of fun and I’m soooo happy I got chosen to host the Benefit Cosmetics party :D

I love the primer and foundation! I used to be all about Shiseido products, but I like Benefit foundation more since it is so natural. Thank you for hosting the party!
