I love skincare products, especially natural brands.

I got a chance to try out some products from Cleopatra's Choice, a company that utilises natural minerals and ingredients from all over the world, including the Dead Sea. Here are some photos and my impressions after using them.

Adovia Mud Soap, Adovia Bath Salts, Cleopatra's Choice Shea Butter

The abundant minerals in the Dead Sea have been a source of healing for centuries, and now you can enjoy their many benefits in the comfort of your own home.

Harvested directly from the Dead Sea, these mineral salts will turn your bath into a pain relieving, skin healing spa. Each order comes with a certificate of authenticity.

  • Fast effective relief from Eczema and Psoriasis symptoms.Eases the pain of Fibromyalgia and Arthritis.Speeds up healing, and relieves the pain of sports and other injuries.Exfoliates, soothes and softens skin.Relaxes and energizes the body to relieve symptoms of stress and insomnia.

Directions: Pour 1 cup into warm bath, and let it dissolve. Soak for 20 minutes, and follow with a lukewarm rinse.

The bath salts smell very mineral-y (yep, totally a word) and have no perfumes or dyes. The mineral smell pretty much disappears once it's in the bath, so you don't have to worry if you're sensitive to scents. I found them to be very relaxing and soften skin quite well. I don't have any of the aforementioned skin conditions, so I can't comment on those, butthey are definitelynon irritating.

  • A rich organic unrefined formula to pamper your whole body with soothing, moisturizing nourishment.Rich in natural humectants and emollients including high levels of vitamins A, E and F.Quickly penetrates the skin to immediately protect and moisturize.Essential fatty acids help prevent premature fine lines and wrinkles.Supplies nutrients to maintain elasticity and a soft, even texture.Applications include rough, cracked skin, stretch marks, wrinkles, chapped lips and cuticles. For Eczema and Psoriasis, symptoms may be dramatically improved with regular use of Shea Butter.

Free of parabens, sulfates and petroleum. Cruelty Free.

This is unrefined shea butter, so it's not as creamy as most of the body butters I've tried in the past. This is basically pure, natural shea butter, unadulterated. It's quite settled and hard so you need to rub a bit to warm the product up and get it onto your fingers. It's got quite a strong smell, which I guess is just the natural shea butter scent, which doesn't bother me too much, but if you are super sensitive, it may be a bit much. The smell doesn't noticably dissipate after you rub it in. This butter leaves my skin very soft and smooth, and hydrates well. It lasts a very long time, so you don't need to reapply often, but it's not greasy.

  • Great for Eczema, Psoriasis or Acne!Adovia Mud Soap removes dirt and cleanses your skin, while simultaneously infusing it with minerals essential to keeping your skin hydrated and moisturized.Enriched with century old Dead Sea mud, leaving your skin cleansed and nourishedThe mud soap gently cleanses away oil, bacteria and dirt particles, leaving skin purified, detoxified and fully cleansed.Note: This soap has been found effective at relieving acne.

Directions: Apply daily to face and/or body and rinse. Avoid contact with eyes.

Feels like soap, lathers like soap, smells like unscented soap.... IS NOT SOAP!

Ok, so it says Mud Soap, I know, I know. But this is so much more than soap. I love this product the most out of all three! I use it on my face and neck and it really gets rid of the dirt, impurities and even dead skin without stripping all the moisture. After use, my skin feels smooth and soft and clean, but not dry.

I'm definitely enamoured by the products I've tried from Cleopatra's Choice and I'll be picking up a few more items in the near future. I love skincare that uses Dead Sea minerals, I've always wanted to go there! This is probably the closest I'll get to the great beautifying properties the Dead Sea has to offer, unless I win the lottery sometime soon and can visit the real thing :)

Great review! I have never used any of these products, but I have used some other brands (can´t really remember the name of the brand) that also use Dead Sea minerals or mud in their products.
