Wet n Wild Megalast Lip Color in Purty Persimmon

So as you may have noticed, I changed my blog name and URL! It's now www.ishahxbeauty.com instead of beautymamas.com. I've been thinking about changing it for a while, because I want the name of the blog and the url to reflect the content. I don't want to limit my target audience, so I decided to go ahead and change them.

In other news, I lost my DSLR camera ;_; I am sooooo sad and angry with myself for losing it, there's $500 down the drain. I will hopefully be able to get another one soon, but until then, please bear with the pictures (which I will be taking with my Galaxy Tab).


Anyway, I've been looking for the new shades of the Wet n Wild Megalast Lip Colors everywhere, but haven't had much luck. The only shade I managed to pick up is this one, Purty Persimmon for $1.99 at Target.

Purty Persimmon is a gorgeous, bright orange which leans towards red. The formula is moisturising, but can show dry/flaky patches, so I'd recommend exfoliating and using a lip balm before application.

I really like this colour, it's a juicy summery shade which I think will be able to carry into autumn nicely. It's quite pigmented, but not super opaque so it feels more moisturising than a regular lipstick formula. It's sheerer than lipstick, but can be layered for more opacity. I prefer to keep bright colours like this a little sheer though. The Lip Color lasts for quite a long time, about 4 hours, without feeling dry or fading.
Have you tried any of the Megalast Lip Colors by Wet n Wild? I think they are great quality for being such an affordable price!
